Just a quick update and some photos. A few key points:
Interesting race so far.
Very challenging for the organisers - they are working hard.
Day one had five rounds in the biggest thermal lottery most had ever seen. Day 1 results are here. For the UK team who didn't put a foot wrong all day but ended up totally last it was a bit of a shock!! Personally I was in 33rd place, which was kind of new territory as well.
Day two was one round only in thermic conditions. Results are here.
Day three we moved to the south slope that had a better edge and generally suited the Brits a little better. Still no compression through. Again it was a thermal lottery but things were a bit kinder to me as I rather dramatically jumped from 33rd to 10th. Top pilots like Dakin in 35th, Espen in 30th and Inaki in 21st - none of whom did anything wrong - says a lot. Results are here.
We've just got back down the ski lift after round 10 with variations from 47 seconds to 90+ seconds. Results not up yet.
More soon(ish)
