I was having a most excellent time tooling around with the Viking on the Ice Cream Slope in consistently sub 40 air when along pops my old mate Ken Phillips.
Although not having flown for so long that his Ellipse shrank into a Cambrian ME109 it was immediately clear why I remember him as one of the very best natural pilots I've ever had the pleasure to fly with.
Hopefully he can make it for the combat / fly in at the Bwlch on 12 September.
