Team Venezuela - Carlos (left) and Jose (Right).  After doing some amazing work rigging out carbon filled models with 2.4 ghz gear the organisers made them fly on 35 mhz because of some local concerns.  Ironically Carlos was the only guy to get a safety and that was because of a big glitch on 35 mhz when he overflew another transmitter.  Maybe I'll ask Carlos and Jose to send me details of their 2.4 ghz set up to publish as I guess there's a lot of people considering the switch.
