BMFA League 3 - North Yorkshire

It's always worth going to North Yorkshire, but this time it was a bit of a leap of faith as the forecast was for rain, and a lot of it.  In the end we managed 5 rounds in bumpy and thermic conditions.  Thanks to Jon Edison and the North Yorks guys for a supreme effort to get the competition in.

Probably the biggest lesson learned was that as soon as it starts to rain, no matter how light, you stop the round and start the 30 minute countdown.  The alternative is to fly in a little rain and then get involved in deep discussions about when light rain becomes unreasonable to fly in rain.  And thus it was that we got two pilots from finishing round 6 before it was cancelled.
